The Hebrew word for God’s breath Neshama refers to the Jewish concept of the soul. The foundation of my faith is that we return from whence we came and our spirit lives on—the soul is immortal. I believe that spirit resonate in all art forms—the essence of my being will live on in the art I leave behind.
NATURE holds traces of soul where I find inspiration and the immortality of the spirit. VESSELS are a powerful symbol of soul, a private container holding hopes, ideas and experiences important to me. Within that space is a portal through which the spirit travels and transcends—a WINDOW where I glimpse the soul and find freedom. These symbols are the palette for my outward expression of soul.
